What we collect

Riposte collects your email address and name when you create an account, and the text of posts you are replying to when you use the extension. Post text is sent to our API to generate reply suggestions and is not stored after the request completes.

How we use your data

Your account information is used to authenticate you and manage your subscription. Your “Your Voice” style profile is stored locally in your browser and is only sent to the API when generating replies. We track usage counts per user per month to enforce free-tier limits.

Third-party services

We use Clerk for authentication and Stripe for payment processing. We use Anthropic Claude to generate reply suggestions. Each service has its own privacy policy governing their data handling.

Data retention

Post text sent for reply generation is not retained. Account data is retained while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from the dashboard.
