How Riposte works
Install the extension
Add Riposte to Chrome from the Chrome Web Store. It activates automatically on LinkedIn and X.
Click into a reply box
When you click Reply on any post, Riposte reads the post and generates contextual reply suggestions in the sidebar.
Pick your tone
Choose from tones like Insightful, Witty, Supportive, and more. Click a reply to copy it, then edit or send as-is.
Train your voice (optional)
Open the extension popup and describe your writing style in Your Voice. Replies will start sounding more like you.
Frequently asked questions
Why aren't I seeing any reply suggestions?
Make sure you're clicked into a reply box on LinkedIn or X/Twitter — Riposte activates when you focus a reply field. If nothing appears, try refreshing the page. If the issue persists, the site may have updated its layout; email us and we'll push a fix.
Which platforms does Riposte support?
Riposte currently supports LinkedIn and X (Twitter). Support for additional platforms is on the roadmap.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Go to your Dashboard, click 'Manage Billing', and cancel from the Stripe customer portal. Your access continues until the end of your current billing period. No hidden fees.
What is the 'Your Voice' feature?
Your Voice lets you describe your writing style — tone, personality, phrases you like — so Riposte generates replies that sound like you, not like a generic AI. You can set it up from the extension popup's 'Your Voice' tab.
Is my data safe? Does Riposte store what I type?
Post text is sent to our API only to generate suggestions and is not stored after the request completes. Your voice profile is saved locally in your browser. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture.
How many replies do I get per month?
Free users get 30 replies per month. Pro ($7/mo) users get 300. Max ($15/mo) users get unlimited replies.
I upgraded but my reply count didn't update. What do I do?
Try signing out and back in from the extension popup. If that doesn't work, email us at support@riposte.me with your account email and we'll sort it out manually.
The extension isn't showing up on LinkedIn/X. Help?
Make sure the extension is enabled in Chrome's extension manager (chrome://extensions). Try reloading the page. If you're on a company-managed browser, extensions may be restricted by IT policy.
